Well it is here, 2010, and we are going through all of our images from 2009 and picking out our favorites was a bit tough! Now we can go back in time and check out some great stuff from 2009 and we look forward to meeting all of the 2010 brides. Now go and enjoy some of our favorites from 09' !
Just love how the sun was able to work with us and make this shot just easier.
This was shot in the dressing room and this chair was a perfect match for this bride.
With the help of a window nearby and using the light from the window made this shot a opportunity for the brides bouquet.
With bad weather on its way, we still made the best of the available light we had for this shot.
This was shot at a minimum aperture of 1.4, love the depth of field on this one. 
Again, using the sun to make our job easier! This was shot in a park with the perfect weather.
Using the available light outside with this shot just made these flowers pop.
This was shot right outside downtown with the sun producing a golden effect to get this shot.
Shooting in low light requires fast glass. Another getting ready shot with a little bit of a different perspective. 
This shot involved a police officer helping us out to stop traffic for a second for this in the street.

Paying close attention to all the little details of the brides wedding dress as her bridesmaids help her get ready.

This senior portrait was involved with a different background, which made her standout. Shot with the 50mm F/1.4
This was a tight-get-it-quick type of shot with a lot of different arms going across the frame.
Detail portrait shot of this model required a lot of hours to prep. 
This was shot with our 70-200mm F/2.8 at about 85mm getting low to make the cake stand out against the bright light from the windows.
Having a steady hand and setting the rings up just right with the perfect light didn't make this shot easy.
Shooting with low light in the dressing rooms is a common thing we run into. This was shot at F/1.4, 1/180, ISO 400.
This was shot as the bride was about to join her family at her reception. We just had to grab this one really quick!
With the use of photoshop with all of our images, it makes things just a bit easier by adding effects to the images.
Another shot in downtown Jacksonville. Shot with the 70-200mm F/2.8
Sometimes it pays off when you ask to shot in a doorway of a business. This is exactly what we did at Jacksonville beach. 
Shot of one of our brides getting her hair prep as this frame froze the hairspray in the air. 
For this shot, we took a step back and involved some of the sawgrass with the sun just peaking over the horizon. 
We shot this while laying on the ground with them to get the best perspective. Shot with the 17-40mm F/4.0

Well, We are in the Orlando international airport and was about to leave to fly into Hart, MI. When we arrived and our ride left, we then found out that we had a five and a half hour delay due to the weather. So, needless to say we're both stuck here for another five hours and counting, lol. We've been meaning to update our blog and keep you up on the latest. What better time to do so than now. Here's a post sometimes we like doing called The picture of the week. Its kinda funny because the picture goes into the whole airline story. This is a picture of a airplane that is going across the black sky, shot with about a 30 second exposure to get this shot. Hope you guys enjoy!
By the way, we will be out of the office from December 2nd-10th. Have a great week!

Amanda Wendorff is putting on a fundraiser for the family of Somer Thompson on Sunday from 10-4 at the OP Townhall Courtyard. It will consist of Bounce Houses, Face Painting, Silent Auction, Bake Sale, Train Rides, and more. I hope that everyone will come out and show their support for this family!!! A lot of us haven't seen the nature through our eyes like how you can though a lens of a camera. Beautiful moments in a split second passes us by every moment that we dont see and when they happen, they happen in a flash leaving us as fast as they came. Here are some pictures that we caught in a split second of our world. Some of these pictures where shot as fast as 1,500th of a second to be able to catch these beautiful moments on digital film.
